Strong-current RS485 guest room control is a practical wiring method for hotel projects that need smart switches, key-card power, sensors, curtain control, and room scene logic without making the installation too complex.

How does a smart hotel strong-current RS485 guest room control system work? You should watch this video before wiring the project. Otherwise, the project may need repeated rework. Here we use one key-card power switch and two smart wall panels as an example. Look at the back side of the switch panel. The neutral wire enters the power supply terminal. The power input here is divided into live wire and neutral wire. From the live wire power input, feed live power to the switch panel. Then connect the lighting load circuits to L1 through L4 on the switch. If the same light needs to be controlled by different switches, you only need to wire the lighting load to one switch panel. The other switch panels can control this light through programming. In addition to the strong-current wiring, the switches and key-card power unit also need an A/B RS485 communication cable for scene mode and logic control. Then a basic strong-current RS485 guest room control solution is complete.
