Project Background
Strong-current RS485 guest room control is a practical wiring method for hotel projects that need smart switches, key-card power, sensors, curtain control, and room scene logic without making the installation too complex.
What This Video Explains
In the last video, I talked about the key-card power switch, but some hotels don’t need a key-card anymore. It opens the door with face recognition or password. So how does it do the power switch? In this video, I will share with you the no-card power switch. The power switch can’t just be a PIR motion sensor. It needs the collaboration of two magical devices, the door magnetic sensoric sensoric sensoric sensor and the PIR motion sensor. The principle of its operation is like this. The door magnetic sensoric sensoric sensoric sensor is closed when closed. When it is closed, the PIR sensor is activated. If the PIR sensor detects occupancy, it will continue to take power. It doesn’t need to be tested all the time in the middle. Because according to the normal logic, when the door is closed, someone in the room will not open the door again. Normally, people don’t leave. So the equipment in the room will definitely continue to supply power. Until the door is closed again, the magnetic sensor is re-activated. If the door is closed, it will not be able to continue to detect people in the set time. Then the door will be re-activated. It is more convenient to compare the no-card power switch with the X- card power switch. However, the cost will be a little higher. Especially, there are some sets that need to use multiple sensors. Which way of power can be chosen according to your needs and budget? Choose a way that suits you.
