First of all, let’s take a look at the back of the strong-current RS485 switch. live and neutral power, L1 to L4, these four connectors can be connected to the circuit of the four lights. Then there is the communication cable, I will take the one-way light today to give you an example. Suppose our switch No. 1 controls the A light. If there is a switch No. 2 in the room, there are two situations here. The first one, if the switch No. 2 still controls the A light, then you just need to give the switch No. 2 live and neutral power and ensure that they can communicate with each other. In this way, the switch No. 2 can control the switch No. 1 through the program, and the switch No. 2 can control the A light. No need to pull the circuit of the A light to the switch No. 2. In the same way, if you want the switch No. 3, 4 and 5 to control the A light, you only need to give the switch No. 2 live and neutral power and the communication cable. This is what we often say, multi-control 1. The second situation is that the switch No. 2 controls the B light and the switch No. 3 controls the C light. At this time, you have to pull the circuit of the B light to the switch No. 2 and the circuit of the C light to the switch No. 3. Don’t forget to connect all the switch communication cables. Here, someone may ask, since each switch is individually controlled, why do you need to communicate? This is for mode control. For example, you can set a total control mode on the switch No. 1, turn on all the lights with one key, or add a soft mode to control the A and C two-way lights. How about this? Is this very convenient? Finally, if you want to have remote control, you have to connect it to the gateway communication. In this way, our backend system can control it remotely. If you want to have voice control, you can set it up with the Xiaodu smart speaker. The Xiaodu will send a signal to the gateway through the cloud, and then the gateway will tell the switch to execute. In addition, you can also use our exclusive remote control.
